The Milestones and Misses website was set up in December 2015 to celebrate the achievements of sportspeople mainly in the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) and Australian Rules Football (AFL and AFLW). The articles published on Milestones and Misses aim to enable readers to gain a greater appreciation of the sportsperson’s journey during their career, both the milestones they have achieved and the setbacks they have overcome.
WNBL

On Tuesday 31 October 2023 Milestones and Misses published a Comprehensive guide to main rosters and player movement for the 2023/24 Cygnett WNBL season. The comprehensive guide provides details on the player movement and main rosters from a league wide perspective and then looks at these two aspects for each of the eight WNBL clubs. The club section includes profiles on each of the players on their main roster and a profile on their Head Coach.

Since February 2022 Milestones and Misses have published articles providing FIBA tournament previews and Australian Opals player profiles in the traditional 5 on 5 format of basketball.
